Privacy Policy

Your saved scenarios, language preference, currency preference, and disclaimer acceptance are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. They never leave your browser unless you explicitly export them via the JSON export feature.

Local storage is wiped whenever you clear your browser data or use the in-app "Reset all data" action.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, or any identifier. We don't have user accounts. We don't sell data because we don't have data to sell.

We don't use social media pixels or session replay tools. We do use Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, no personal data) and, once approved, Google AdSense — see the "Third-party services" section below for details.

Stock prices and fundamentals come from EODHD and Yahoo Finance. When you run a simulation, your chosen stock symbol and date range are sent to our server, which then queries those providers. We don't log your queries with any personal identifier.

Foreign exchange rates come from Frankfurter.app. Company logos may be fetched from Wikipedia, EODHD's CDN, or Google's favicon service when you view a stock card.

Aggregate visit counts are collected via Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless, GDPR-compliant, no IP addresses or personal identifiers stored. We use it only to see which pages and scenarios are popular.

When Google AdSense is fully approved on this domain, the AdSense script will load on every page. AdSense uses cookies to personalize ads and measure performance. You can manage your AdSense ad preferences at https://adssettings.google.com.

This is a general-audience educational tool. We don't knowingly collect any data, so we don't have any way to identify children specifically. The product is intended for adult investors learning about historical markets.

If we change how data is handled, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
